The Crew Behind the Craftsmanship
We're more than just renovators—we're a tight-knit crew of problem solvers, designers, and skilled craftspeople who care deeply about transforming spaces and the people who live in them. Whether we're redesigning a master suite or completely reimagining a kitchen, our team shows up ready to bring your vision to life—every time.

Malory Prucha
Project Designer
With 3 years in the industry, Malory is a fervent learner who shouldn't be underestimated by her novice experience—she thoroughly enjoys working with her more tenured teammates, knowing their combined perspectives are extremely valuable. Her specialty? Kitchens! There's so much opportunity for major functionality upgrades and design possibilities to blend materials in different applications that perfectly reflect the people who live there (there's a reason it's called the heart of the home!). What Malory loves most about BAB Design Build is that the team is constantly evolving to become better each day and with each project, with everyone bringing unique personalities and perspectives to learn from and rely on.
When she's not transforming homes, you'll find Malory doing pretty much anything active outdoors—water sports and mountain biking in summer, downhill skiing and hockey in winter. You can also catch her tending to her plant collection when she's not outside. The most rewarding part of her job is seeing how good design can alter the way people live their lives for the better. She knows that living spaces hugely affect how we use and feel in our homes, and she loves being able to improve daily lives through great design.
Recent accomplishment:
Malory redid her own kitchen—and without changing the actual footprint, she made layout and storage changes with new cabinetry that's now easy to use, intuitive, and absolutely gorgeous too!

Breanna Vigueras
Project Manager
With 10 years in the construction industry (woah—kinda wild to see that on paper!) and 5.5 years at BAB Design Build, Breanna has a passion for transforming spaces that just aren't working into functional, beautiful environments. Her favorite projects? Taking homes with awkward layouts and breathing new life into them with updated materials, smart built-in organization, and clever storage solutions that keep everything crisp and clean. What Breanna loves most about BAB Design Build is the incredible team she gets to work with every day—people with unique perspectives who align when it matters most, share in the wins, collaborate on improvements, and are simply good, trustworthy people who do right by others.
When she's not transforming homes, you'll find Breanna riding her ATV or UTV, enjoying anything outdoors, playing sports and games, attending concerts, or traveling—always with family and friends in tow. And yes, she does try to find those moments to just sit and relax too (though she wishes her hobbies sounded more thrilling every time someone asks!). The most rewarding part of her job is earning clients' trust to be welcomed into their homes and handle such an important part of their lives. She loves forming relationships with clients who become like family, knowing that the spaces BAB creates will be part of their conversations and memories for many years to come.
Dream project:
Opening up her own home to create a large, open kitchen and dining area with a huge island where all her family and friends can gather together—making entertaining and hosting so much easier and more efficient.

Dan Schmidt
VP of Pre-Construction
With 35 years in the construction industry—starting as a field carpenter and working his way up—Dan has truly seen it all (and he'd probably tell you that's both a blessing and a curse). Dan thrives on collaboration, whether he's problem-solving with field crews or working through remodel details with clients. What he loves most about BAB Design Build is being part of the complete journey with homeowners, from first idea to final walk-through, knowing the team has added joy and functionality to someone's daily life.
When he's not transforming homes, you'll find Dan enjoying clever TV shows and movies, spending time in his yard, or with family. He's excited about returning to some creative pursuits—writing and possibly even stand-up comedy—and has come to appreciate life's quieter moments. What keeps him energized is the constant stream of new people and fresh perspectives, plus the exceptional team he gets to work with every day.
Dream project:
Converting his barn loft into a four-season gathering space for his family—the perfect example of creating environments where people naturally want to spend time together.
